Demise of Local Competitions

One Response to Demise of Local Competitions

I agree, I am still basking in the glory of winning last Christmas. People, who didn’t even know I write saw it in the paper and congratulated me. The story was even read out at the Horticultural Society’s Christmas do. A small triumph but a satisfying one.
Can anyone persuade the paper to run competitions without having to be paid to do so? I am happy to provide a monthly tenner as a prize if they provide the space.
